John Hubbard, musician, RIP
I just learned of the death of one of my friends from Hong Kong, John Hubbard. Here's one article:

John was a great player who was also instrumental in the formation of The Discovery Bay Jazz Band (1996-1998) and introduced me to many of Hong Kong's finest players and its musical 'culture'.
I'll miss him.
